Although I love the innovations and the ingenious design, I feel there are considerable drawbacks. First, at a whopping $549, your child may outgrow the Doona sooner than expected. It could mean you’ll need to get another stroller. Aargh! Given the price of strollers and baby products in general, the idea of buying another stroller might make you wince. Second, the lack of storage space is a common complaint amongst parents who own the Doona. On one hand, Doona does offer three bag options that either hang from the handlebar or clips to the front of the seat. On the other hand, many parents feel the bags are inadequate for their storage requirements.

The Doona is a wonderful car seat and stroller, as well as super-duper safe! It makes a world of difference and makes day-to-day life easier for parents.
However, the biggest sticking point, as we’ve previously mentioned, is the question of how long will the Doona last? With a maximum height of 32-inches, the stroller life may be short. For example, my daughter hit the 32-inch mark at 17-months. Ouch! So in this scenario, I’d be in the market for another stroller in less than two years. At the same time, many parents have more than one stroller.
